Cinerain is a Finnish film production company founded in 2022 by Samppa Batal and Tuomas Kohtamäki for their love of moving pictures.
Tuomas is a film editor and producer. He likes slow mornings, watering the plants in the house and is always ready for a warm sunshine. Samppa is a film director, writer and producer. He likes early mornings, watering the plants in the house and is always up FOR a rainy storm.
Dedicating their life to cinema, Tuomas AND SAMPPA are fascinated by character-driven stories with themes that they believe cause the communication problems among us. In every production the filmmakers strive to create a basis that provides the whole film crew with an opportunity to surprise themselves - and the audience.
